Here we go. As I struggle to blog regularly I accepted to participate in a 30 Day Blog Challenge – one blog a day……..Am I mad? Maybe…..

To get some inspiration I looked through old diary’s from my teenage years. I had journals with drawings, poems and thoughts and proper diary’s. I had completely forgotten that I used to write and sketch.

My teenage years have been pretty rough and misunderstood. I never seemed to fit it as I was interested in too many things. Apparently If you are a scout you are not supposed to join the catholic youth and the other way around. If you love dancing, you shouldn’t love rowing as well. Was it really like that or did I made myself an outsider believing a minority? We all know kids can be cruel in their honesty. Have I just been a victim of bad days and was an easy target as I wouldn’t give in? Maybe. One thing I do know for sure is that the teenage issues I used to have felt ginormous¬†– surely the worst issues anybody could ever have! Today I can smile about it.

This blog was supposed to be about my past and sometimes it might still be but the importance of life is in the NOW. Right now. It doesn’t matter how hard life used to be or how difficult the future might be. All that counts is in the now. Enjoy the laughter with your kids, family and friends. Enjoy sunshine, rain and the beautiful smells in the air. Live your life today! If you always worry or live in the past you will miss out on life. You will miss the little miracles that daily life has to offer.
